Day of the Digits - Friday 7th February for the NSPCC.

Making maths meaningful

To help raise money for the NSPCC, Blackgates took part in Dress up for Digits on Friday 7th February and pupils were invited to wear an item of clothing with a number on it, or even came dressed as a number (football shirt, cap, netball shirt etc). It wasn’t a surprise to see that our children really pulled out all the stops …. Just have a look at some of their creations….

Throughout the day we had lots of maths and number fun at school and all the donations made went towards the NSPCC.

We had a whole school Times Tables Rock Stars competition to see which class scored the most accurate answers in 20 minutes. The winners = SWIFTS – well done SWIFTS!
